Why we give startups a discount on their first protoPCBA

Off to FUSE Enschede (fuse-enschede.nl) again on Thursday.

Plenty of startups. Plenty of ideas. Plenty of pitches.

And probably plenty of MVPs that are not quite finished.

That simply comes with the territory.

Because if your startup builds hardware, you keep running into the same thing.

Software you build. Test. Adjust. And a few hours later you have a new version.

With hardware we are still a lot less used to that.

Design the PCB, order, wait, assemble, test, find a mistake, order again.

Before you know it you are weeks further.

It can be done differently.

At DeltaProto, in our #PCBAProtoLabs, we help startups develop electronics as iteratively as software.

Build a ProtoPCBA quickly and locally. Test. Adjust. And again.

For a POC, an MVP, or to have that working proto you can win an investor over with.

That is why we give startups a discount on their first #ProtoPCBAs.

Not because hardware development is cheap or should be.

But because we like startups to experience for themselves what speed combined with an iterative process does for your time to market.

So... are you at FUSE in Enschede on Thursday too?

Do come and say hello. I am the tall bald guy who will probably start about protoPCBAs while everyone else is talking about funding. ๐Ÿ˜‰
