Meet Jochem — our new lab manager in the PCBAProtoLab

This is Jochem.

Some people see a technical problem and think: uh-oh.

Jochem thinks: fun! 😄

When he heard through the grapevine that DeltaProto was looking for a lab manager for the #PCBAProtoLab at Kennispark Twente (kennispark.nl), inside the Fraunhofer Innovation Platform for Advanced Manufacturing at the University of Twente (fip.utwente.nl), the choice was quickly made.

With his experience as an independent entrepreneur at FixFreak (fixfreak.nl) and earlier at Robor Electronics (robor.nl), Jochem has already solved plenty of electronic challenges. From a quick repair to a complex hardware puzzle: he loves figuring out how something can be done better, smarter or faster.

That fits perfectly with what we stand for. With our local, iterative approach we can develop #protoPCBA's incredibly fast, so hardware teams can test, improve and, ultimately, get to a working product sooner.

Besides tech, Jochem — a true local from Hengelo — has one more big hobby: coffee. ☕ So there's a good chance you'll leave not only with a solution, but also with a good conversation over a freshly brewed cup.
