Solder Flux as Adhesive Remover

Monday evening, my son and I were watching Het Klokhuis.

This time they showed how you can dissolve super glue with cola. Cola is extremely acidic (pH value 2). (That's also why it contains so much sugar. Otherwise it would be undrinkable😉.)

Solder flux is also acidic (pH value 4 to 5). Necessary to remove oxides from the material to be soldered. Occasionally at DeltaProto, we use solder flux to perfectly remove super glue from a ProtoPCBA.
